A friend of mine told me a story too good not to share.

A few Sunday’s ago, he and his wife were trying to figure out if the Reds played at 1:10pm, 1:30pm, or 4pm that day.  As they went back and forth their 16 year old son piped up with “why don’t you just ask Joe?”

He was a bit taken aback.  “What are you talking about son? Joe is a good friend, but I am NOT calling him on a Sunday morning just to ask when then Reds are playing. I will look like an idiot.”

His son looked equally as confused.  He paused for a moment, smiled, and pointed to the refrigerator.  Hanging on the door was Dinergy’s 2026 Reds Calendar, complete with Joe’s smiling face.

His son laughed and said, “Joe knows!”

After a pause his whole family got a good chuckle out of it.  But it does prove a good point – sometimes it IS a good idea to just ask Joe!
